The Super Times is operated by Said.fm Ltd and this policy, at the time of writing, is valid for privacy matters related to The Super Times iPhone app and service.
As a guiding principle we endeavour to treat your privacy with importance. The Super Times iPhone App by Said.fm Ltd provides this Privacy Policy to explain our practices, how they affect you and the resulting choices you can make when engaging with our app and service.
We occasionally need to collect information from you for practical or technical reasons. This information includes:
* Your e-mail address for use as your username for The Super Times.
A username is technically required so that you can login, subscribe and receive weekly editions of The Super Times. We use your e-mail address as it is easy for you to remember, more convenient if you forget your password and we can use it to contact you regarding important updates and messages.

We encrypt your password before transmitting and storing it securely in our database.
We use the information you provide to register you for The Super Times service and allow you to login via multiple devices. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to operate The Super Times functionality.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design The Super Times app, to improve the content offering and to share with content providers. For example:
* We may tell a content provider that x number of people downloaded a particular podcast.
* We may disclose that x number of people downloaded the iPhone app from a given Apple Store for the purposes of funding or investment.
When we use information in this or a similar manner, we do not disclose anything that could be used to identify individuals.
We may disclose your information in response to legal process, to exercise our legal rights or to defend against legal claims.
We may disclose your information when we believe it necessary to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving threats to physical safety of any person, violations of our policies, and to protect our rights and property.
The Super Times may sell, transfer or share some or all of its assets, including personal information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy. Such selling, transferring or sharing of information would be done with given prior notice.
We may use external services, beyond The Super Times control, such as analytics tools. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that integrated external services are reputable and trustworthy, but we cannot be held responsible for data collection and usage by such services.
To prevent unauthorised access we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard any information we collect.
You may contact us at support@thesupertimes.com with a request that we delete your personal information. We will make reasonable efforts to honour your request, however we may hold an archived copy of your records if required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
The Super Times iPhone app and service are rated as 12 plus and therefore we do not knowingly collect or maintain information from those younger than this. No part of The Super Times is designed or structured to attract anyone younger than 12.
The Super Times reserves the right to change this policy at any time. Please check this page for periodical changes. Your continued use of The Super Times, following any such changes, will mean you accept the updated policy.
