If you’ve ever been tempted to give Marvel’s Avengers a try, then you’d better hurry. The Square Enix action game launched to middling reviews and lacklustre sales back in 2020. The game would improve over the years, with developer Crystal Dynamics adding new characters and additional story content via a steady stream of updates. Unfortunately, however, it’s a case of too little, too late, because Marvel’s Avengers is about to be delisted forever.
Indeed, if you want to purchase Marvel’s Avengers, then you’ll need to pick up a copy before it’s removed from sale on September 30.
While the digital version will no longer be available to purchase after September 30, physical copies will be available while stocks last.
If you do pick up a copy of Marvel’s Avengers, or if you already own a copy, then you’ll be able to re-download the game for the foreseeable future.
Square Enix explains more: “Yes, if you own the game before September 30, 2023, you will be able to reinstall it after that date. However, as noted above, after September 30, 2023 we can’t guarantee that we will be able to address issues that occur due to unforeseen circumstances.”
Sadly, however, if something goes wrong with your game or your save file gets corrupted, developer Crystal Dynamics won’t be able to help.
Marvel Avengers: Playstation release sneak peek at game
With the game about to be delisted, Square Enix has given Marvel’s Avengers massive discounts across the board.
Marvel’s Avengers Definitive Edition is available for just £4.49 on Xbox and PlayStation, or just £2.99 on Steam.
The Definitive Edition contains all of the additional story content, as well as a ton of unlockable costumes.
If you own the PlayStation version, you can even unlock Spider-Man, which remains a PS4 and PS5 exclusive.
The discounts will be available until September 27, just three days before the game is delisted.
