BREN Esports outlast Omega to win MPL-PH Season 6

BREN Esports have topped off their dominant Mobile Legends: Bang Band Professional League Philippines (MPL-PH) with a championship trophy. The team that suffered only one loss through the entire season cruised through the playoffs taking down their quarterfinal and semifinal opponents 3-0 each before moving into the grand final.

Omega PH would be their opposition in the big match having bested Blacklist International and Execration to find themselves in the grand final for their first time.

The series kicked off with a absolutely dismal performance from Omega who lost the first game 16-2 in just under 12 minutes. It would be a reverse in the second, however, as it seemed Omega had figured things out and bounced back to take it 13-2 and tie things up heading into game three. Hadjizy impressed with an 8/0/3 record to lead his team.

The domination wouldn’t stop there as BREN pulled off another wildly one sided victory in game three at 16-3 as KarlTzy went 7/0/8 alongside Ribo’s 11 assists to help push their team to a quick victory.

The back and forth would end there as BREN esports made it two in a row by taking the fourth game 16-8. While the game was closer, the gap between the two had grown. Omega made one last successful attempt to claw back into the series with a 14-1 victory in game five to put themselves within one heading into yet another potential decider match.

The lowest scoring game of the six played, the final match would see BREN Esports seal the deal and their place as MPL-PH Season 6 champions 10-4 over Omega PH.
