Tournament organizer ESL Gaming will continue its partnership with cash payment company paysafecard into 2021. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this deal, paysafecard will serve as a presenting partner for IEM Katowice 2021, the National Championships in both Germany and Poland, and ESL Mobile Europe & MENA for the first time.
Paysafecard will also take part in dedicated activations including an in-broadcast audience engagement segment called “paysafecard Super Fan,” where viewers will be “encouraged to share why they are fans of specific players.” Stories can be submitted through the official IEM Katowice website, where the best submission will win a paysafecard and ESL Gaming gift bag.
Further details related to broadcast integrations and activities connected to ESL Mobile Europe & MENA and National Championships are to be announced at a later date, the company said.
Paysafecard is a long-time partner of ESL Gaming events, a relationship that first took hold in 2015 and has been renewed and expanded every year since. Paysafecard also sponsors G2 Esports and has collaborated with the organization on special esports-related initiatives.
