Fortnite: How To Get The Mythic Explosive Bow In Season 6

Another Bow has emerged from the chaos of Fortnite patch v16.30. ESTNN explains where to find it.

Early patch notes from Fortnite Battle Royale’s latest update teased a brand new addition to the Bow family. It soon became apparent that Epic Games referenced the Unstable version in a pre-update tweet. ESTNN has already posted a guide on finding that, which you can see here. However, the developers had a few more tricks up their sleeves.

Another Bow muscled its way into patch v16.30 in the form of a Mythic Explosive Bow. While Legendary and Epic rarities of this weapon already exist, a Mythic variant did not. Let’s find out where you can locate the Mythic Explosive Bow in Season 6.

Where to the Mythic Explosive Bow

Fortnite’s non-player character (NPC), known as Raz, moved from Colossal Crops to The Spire for this update. He now patrols the area while wielding the Mythic Explosive Bow and some terrifying powers. As shown in the video above by YouTube account “Fortnite Events,” you’ll need to first arrive at The Spire, located in the map’s middle section.

How to get the Mythic Explosive Bow

Once arriving at The Spire, locate Raz but be cautious of your attacks. He is more powerful than before this update and has become a boss character; meaning will attack unprovoked. Keep a distance and steer clear of his superpower, which can inflict damage from all angles. Stockpiling weapons and ammo would be the optimal strategy in defeating Raz primarily because he has a lot of health.

After defeating Raz, he drops the Mythic Explosive Bow, which you can add to your inventory. Here are the weapon’s statistics:

  • Headshot Damage – 245
  • Body Damage – 98
  • Fire Rate – 1
  • Magazine Size – 1
  • Reload Time – 0.94

That is all the information required to locate the Mythic Explosive Bow. Fortnite patch v16.30 is now live, so you can jump into a match and try to gather this weapon, likely with hundreds of other players. We’ll update this post if any additional information becomes available!
