Epic has revealed the release date of Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr’s Fortnite skin.
Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 6 struck the game’s player base in early March with some interesting Battle Pass additions. Epic Games was able to bring in Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series and Raven from the DC Comics universe to boost interest across the board. The developers also inked a partnership with one of the world’s most famous football stars.

Neymar Jr in Fortnite Season 6
Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, better known as simply Neymar Jr, found his way into Fortnite ahead of Chapter 2 – Season 6. How this came to be is not clear, but the Paris Saint-Germain football club member has created a persona for himself in the gaming scene. He currently boasts 1.6M Twitch followers, which makes his presence in Fortnite a bit clearer.
The first Neymar teaser came alongside Fortnite’s initial Battle Pass teaser. Unfortunately for fans of the footballer, his in-game cosmetics would not be available at launch. After a brief delay, Epic Games appears ready, and there is an official release date for the Brazilian star’s Fortnite skin.

Neymar Jr to Release on April 27, Worldwide Reveal Trailer Tomorrow
Fortnite’s Twitter account revealed the exciting news today with another Neymar Jr teaser trailer. It displayed what looks to be two different styles for the cosmetic. One closely resembles the football player’s real-life look, whereas the other looks similar to a wolf in its complete form.
The Neymar Jr cosmetic might have a built-in transformation, allowing players to switch between the two styles in-game. However, that is merely a theory at this point, as all leaks have been kept to a minimum. We know that Neymar Jr will grace players on April 27, and the worldwide reveal arrives on April 25 at noon EST.
We’ll be sure to update you with more information should it become available.
