Esports investment and advisory firm Guinevere Capital has partnered with New Zealand’s Eden Park along with Spark and Logitech G to open a new esports performance center.The new Spark Esports Hub will provide training facilities for top Oceanic esports teams, with equipment provided by Logitech G. The facility will be established inside Eden Park, a large sports stadium in New Zealand famous for having twice hosted the Rugby World Cup.
The space will also aim to serve as a community hub for aspiring competitors, hosting a series of weekly developmental leagues. It will also have broadcast capabilities and venue space to host competitions. In addition to opportunities focused on PC gaming, the facility will have a dedicated 5G mobile gaming area provided and powered by Spark.
This facility is the latest in Guinevere Capital’s growing esports venue portfolio. The company previously established facilities in Twickenham Stadium in the U.K. and in Australia’s Sydney Cricket Ground.
