PUBG owner KRAFTON, Inc. announced the fourth edition of the PUBG Continental Series (PCS4), which will feature competitions in four different regions of the world: Americas, Asia, Asia/Pacific, and Europe. Each of the four regions will have a $250K USD prize pool, totalizing a $1M USD investment in prizing, $200K more than the PCS3 in 2020.
After qualifiers in May to set the final 16 teams of each region to dispute the main events, the PCS4 will be held in June simultaneously in all participating regions. Matches will be streamed on Twitch and YouTube on the following dates:
– Americas: June 10 and 11, June 17 and 18, June 24 and 25;
– Asia-Pacific: June 10 and 11, June 17 and 18, June 24 and 25;
– Europe: June 12 and 13, June 19 and 20, June 26 and 27;
– Asia: June 12 and 13, June 19 and 20, June 26 and 27.
A new edition of the PUBG Continental Series was already expected by the audience as KRAFTON, Inc. has unveiled part of its plans for esports in 2021.
