OpTic Gaming Los Angeles has revealed two more additions to their 2020 Call of Duty League (CDL) roster. In the form of substitutes, OGLA announced that Martin “Chino” Chino and Jevon “Goonjar” Gooljar-Lim will be joining the roster. While many feel that OpTic is no longer the same team, they still have one of the most talented rosters in the CDL. However, they haven’t been performing too well in online scrimmages. With this in mind, it’s important to have two veterans of Call of Duty esports to step in at a moment’s notice.
Chino and Goonjar join OpTic Gaming L.A.
It was rumored a while back that Chino would be a Los Angeles substitute. However, we didn’t know which L.A. team – the Guerillas or OpTic – he would join. We now know Chino joins arguably the more talented and storied organization in OG.
A true veteran of COD, Chino was once considered one of the top Assault Rifle players in the world. During the WWII season, he played on the dominant Team Kaliber roster and took home two championships. However, midway through the 2017 season, he fell out of favor with TK and was dropped before CWL Seattle 2018.
Two more to the squad.

Since then, Chino has bounced around from team to team, looking for a foothold. Through a series of bad luck and poor placements, Chino found himself without an offer from a CDL organization after Black Ops 4. Still, he remains a talented AR that can help OpTic Gaming.
Goonjar, on the other hand, has been around since the beginning of Call of Duty esports. He’s competed on every title since Modern Warfare 3 and was most notably on the popular Team Kaliber roster during Black Ops 2 and Ghosts. Goonjar has a huge amount of experience and is a great veteran presence alongside Chino.
Presumably, the two substitutes will only receive playing time if a member of OpTic’s starting roster is struggling. However, things could swing in another direction during the course of Modern Warfare.
