T1 Entertainment & Sports has named Samsung Electronics as its official display partner. The esports team organization will feature a variety of products in its Seoul, South Korea, headquarters including Samsung Odyssey G9 & G7 monitors in the now-branded Samsung Player Lounge.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The partnership has a certain significance to it, as Samsung previously owned its own esports works team, Samsung Galaxy, which defeated T1 (then known as SK Telecom T1) in the 2017 League of Legends World Championship finals, ending a three-year winning streak.
