Toronto-Dominion Bank has expanded its partnership with OverActive Media to now cover both of the organization’s Activision Blizzard franchise league teams. TD will now serve as the official bank of both the Toronto Defiant and Toronto Ultra. This expansion adds a second team to the deal which began with TD’s sponsorship of Toronto Defiant last August.
Additionally, TD has secured naming rights to the TD Player Lounge within OverActive’s new Toronto facility. The brand will receive broadcast and social media integration, appear on custom content, and have its logo placed on Ultra jerseys in addition to continuing its sponsorship of Toronto Defiant’s Fan Appreciation Weekend event.
TD will add a second event to its deal this year, working with both the Defiant and Vancouver Titans to sponsor the first online Canadian Overwatch Fest.
