Nintendo has announced Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been delayed until next year, debuting a new trailer showing off new gameplay features.
During Nintendo’s E3 presentation, the company debuted what to expect from the Nintendo Switch version of Animal Crossing, titled New Horizons, confirming it had been delayed from 2019 to 20 March 2020.
The reason for the delay was brief, stating how they wanted ‘to ensure the game is the best it can be’.
In the trailer, the ability to craft items was shown via Tom Nook’s workbench, along with starting life in a tent, before eventually building up towards a house.
There’s also a NookPhone described, which allows you to call other players onto your island via an app to help assist with tasks.
The trailer ends with Nook presenting a bill for a whopping $49,800 Bells, so some things never change at least.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons releases on 20 March 2020.
