The Apex Legends server status makes grim reading for fans, who have complained about not being able to access Battle Royale.
Independent website Down Detector has received thousands of reports that Apex Legends isn’t working.
The outage tracker monitors social mentions around certain topics to detect when services go down across the world.
The Down Detector outage map shows that the Apex Legends issues are affecting users in the UK and Europe.
Judging by the response online, fans are getting error messages when trying to login and play a game.
Other fans are getting stuck in the matchmaking screen before Battle Royale match load up.
Needless to say, Apex Legends fans aren’t happy, and have been venting their frustrations on sites like Twitter.
Here are just a handful of tweets from disgruntled Apex Legends fans, who currently can’t access the game.
“@PlayApex are servers down? Unable to connect to EA servers! What’s happening?”
“Got on, played one game, won, then the servers are down.”
“Of course Apex Legends goes down when Kings Canyon map is up.”
“Play Apex why are the servers always down when I want to play? Can’t this happen at like 4 am in the morning or something.”
“Are Apex Legends servers down for anyone else?”
“I keep getting error codes and stuck on matchmaking sequence.”

Unfortunately, EA and Respawn are yet to acknowledge the problem, so there’s no timeframe for a fix.
The only good news is that the issues seem to be confined to Apex Legends, and not other EA games.
Typically, when one Electronic Arts title goes offline, the rest tend to follow.
Express Online has contacted the company for information about the server outage, and a potential fix.
