Respawn has revealed what to expect in the Apex Legends season two battle pass, including a new hero and weapons.
At EA Play 2019, Respawn detailed the contents of the long awaited battle pass, titled Battle Charge, kicking off with tenth character, Wattson.
First introduced in the game’s original lore cinematic, Wattson is a scientist and engineer who can place electrical defensive walls around her during battle – which alert squad mates and also stun enemies.
For her ultimate ability, she can summon an Interception Pylon which blocks air strikes and bombardments.
The new pass will also feature a new weapon called L-Star from Titanfall 2 – which is a powerful heavy assault rifle only available from care packages.
New challenges will be included, with four legendary skins; including the Prince Of Darkness skin for Caustic, a Spitfire skin called The Intimidator, Octane’s Jade Tiger skin, and an Iron Rampage skin for the R-301.
Respawn also announced season two will include a new ranked mode for players who want to compete at a very competitive level.
Apex Legends season two is due to launch on 2 July, with prices yet to be confirmed.
