Assassin’s Creed Origins: Ancient Tomb Location Guide

Unsurprisingly for a reboot, Assassin's Creed Origins is different from its predecessors in a number of ways. One thing the earlier games don't contain is an abundance of freely explorable caves in the wild.

Origins includes a bunch of caverns, though, and some of them contain secrets to uncover. The most famous examples are the ancient tombs that litter the open world. Inside these places, you can find ancient tablets, mechanisms, and all kinds of loot. But before you can go raiding these tombs, you need to find them, which is no easy feat. Here are the locations of each one.

Mountain Of The Dead Tomb (Siwa)

The Mountain of the Dead tomb is just outside the Siwa village – but still in the Siwa region. It's part of the large cliff slightly northwest of Bayek's home.

To get inside, you need to find a small, dark crevice on the side of the cliff.

Nomarch's Tomb And Seshem.eff Er Aat Tomb (Black Desert)

In the south of the Black Desert region are two tombs not far from the border to Faiyum.

You need to first head into the Nomarch one. To gain access, look for a large hole in the ground near some stone walls.

Once you find the tablet in the Nomarch's tomb, look to the right to find a breakable wall, which serves as the entrance to the Seshem.eff Er Aat Tomb.

Tomb Of The Nomads (Isolated Desert)

You can find the Tomb of The Nomads in the northwest corner of the Isolated Desert region.

The opening to the tomb is on the side of a mountain. It's not in a completely deserted area as there are a few structures and several people around.

Golden Tomb And Oun Maa Niye Ressoot (Isolated Desert)

The fancy-sounding Golden Tomb is located in the eastern half of the Isolated Desert region.

It's in a heavily rocky area with no civilization. As such, the way in is simply a hole surrounded by rocks.

After finding the tablet inside the Golden Tomb, head deeper into the cave to enter the Oun Maa Niye Ressoot tomb.

Tomb Of Amenemhat 3 (Haueris Nome)

The Tomb of Amenemhat 3 is near Haueris Nome's eastern border, not far from Krokodilopolis.

Look for the pyramid in the area as the tomb is below it. There is a little crack at the foot of the structure's south side, which can grant you access.

Tomb Of Smenkhkare And Eeyoo Sekedoo Aat (Haueris Nome)

Both the Tomb of Smenkhkare and Eeyoo Sekedoo Aat are in the southeast corner of the Haueris Nome region.

The entrance to the Smenkhkare tomb is an area filled with pillars that are covered in greenery. Simply head down the stairs to enter the tomb.

As for the Eeyoo Sekedoo Aat, its entrance is directly behind the ancient tablet in the Tomb of Smenkhkare.

Tomb Of The Cynic (Uab Nome)

On the west side of the Uab Nome region, you will find the Tomb of The Cynic.

It's in a rocky mountain area, and there's a dead animal in front of the entryway.

Seth-Anat Tomb And Qeneb Too Kah’Aiye Tomb (Desheret Desert)

There isn't a lot in the Desheret Desert, but you can find the Seth-Anat and Qeneb Too Kah' Aiye Tombs towards the center of the region.

They're both inside the large futuristic structure housed there. First, find the ancient tablet in the Seth-Anat Tomb.

To the left of the tablet is the entrance to the Qeneb Too Kah'Aiye Tomb.

Tomb Of Djoser (Saqqara Nome)

In the northeastern section of the Saqqara Nome region, you can locate the Tomb of Djoser.

The entrance to the tomb is near a pyramid. Look for two statues next to a slope.

Tomb Of Sneferu (Saqqara Nome)

This tomb is slightly east of Nitria, inside a pyramid.

As for the entrance, it's a hole partway up the northern side of the structure.

Adorer Of Thoth Tomb (Giza)

There are a few tombs in Giza, and this one is situated to the west of the pyramids.

The place contains a large entrance, which is a part of a rocky mountain area. There may be some enemies in the area to make it more difficult for you to make your way to the ancient tablet.

Tomb Of Menkaure (Giza)

This tomb is hidden inside one of the smaller pyramids in the game. The said pyramid is slightly southwest of two bigger ones.

The entrance to it is on the northern side of the structure, and you can just climb up to get inside.

Tomb Of Khafre (Giza)

The large pyramid near the center of Giza houses the Tomb of Khafre.

The entrance to it is on the north side of the landmark. You simply need to climb up to it.

Tomb Of Khufu (Giza)

The Tomb of Khufu is within the pyramid in the northern part of Giza.

To get inside the place, you need to find a small entrance on the northern side of the pyramid.

Eesfet Oon-m’Aa Poo (Giza)

This tomb is a bit different from the rest as you need all the Stone Circles and 50 Silica to acquire the treasure inside.

The tomb itself is hidden within the Great Sphinx. You can find the entrance to it around the back of the Sphinx.
