Call of Duty Mobile has been a pretty resounding success since it launched, but fans can get impatient which is why a little over a month after release, Activision is preparing a major zombies update.
A teaser from the team leading to the new community update read, "The undead are coming".
And if you thought that was brief you'll unlikely take comfort from the official blog post that merely said:
"Greetings Call of Duty: Mobile community, over the past month there is one request that we have seen every single day, ‘where is Zombies?’ It will be at your fingertips before you know it."
"Look to our social media channels as we prepare to show Zombies to the world! We share plenty through these Community Updates, but our social media channels have screenshots, videos, and more to share that you may not see here. Keep an eye on these three in particular:"
And that was it. No release dates, no firm news on what the gameplay could be like, just confirmation that is, indeed, coming.

Away from the shuffling undead, the other big request from fans is the addition of controller support.
Those who were playing at launch might recall that the game launched with controller support before an update quickly patched it out.
Speaking with Hypebeast , Activision’s VP of mobile Chris Plummer suggested that they might have removed the feature to help balance the game.
On more than one occasion the team suggested that it would return in time and in the same community blogpost the team suggested they were nearing release, writing:
"Just a quick note, but we are planning to release controller support soon and are just finalizing the specifics of how it will be working in the game, specifically with matchmaking. Keep checking back for more on this as we get closer to release."
Stay tuned for more Call of Duty Mobile news as we get it.
