Cyberpunk 2077 Respec – List Of Console Commands And How To Access Them

Cyberpunk 2077 is a massive game with hundreds of different items, dozens of NPCs, countless shards to read, too many locations to remember at once – it’s a big game with a lot to experience, and I can’t blame you if you do not have the time to experience everything as it is intended. Hey, we’re all busy, we all have commitments and responsibilities, and if you want to speed up your Cyberpunk 2077 experience on PC, you can do exactly that. You can even respec your points using these console commands – something impossible to do normally.

Console commands have finally come to Cyberpunk 2077, something that is famous in games like The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim for the incredible videos you can find online. There’s nothing quite like spawning 100 dragons in Whiterun. Well, now you can, for a time, spawn items in Cyberpunk 2077, though it doesn’t seem like you’ll be able to drop them in the streets and cause havoc.

In this guide, we’re going to briefly run you through what you need to do to get console commands working on your Cyberpunk 2077 game, and list some of the most useful commands, with a link to where you can find a full list to satisfy your curiosity.

How To Make Console Commands Work In Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 does have a command menu, but it’s actually hidden from the player while in use, meaning that you would never be able to know you pulled it up, even if you had managed to. But that’s okay, because some dedicated modders have already put together an overlay menu that essentially visualises the console command menu, so you know when you’ve accessed it, and what exactly you’re typing in.

All you need to do is download the CyberConsole mod from NexusMods – you will need a free account to download the mod.

Download the 1.2 version of the mod and install it using the simple instructions – all you need to do is rename an existing .dll file in the game directory, and then drag in two other files that come bundled in the .zip. Make sure to read through the instructions in the .txt file in detail – it isn’t long, and this is a very simple mod to install.

While in-game you just need to tap the tilde key to access the console command menu – that’s the key above the tab button on most keyboard layouts. And then all you need to do is type in a command, and you’ll have the item spawned into your inventory.

List Of Cyberpunk 2077 Console Commands

We won’t list every single console command here – for that, you can check this Google Doc form, which is being managed by members of the NexusMods forum. But we will list some of the most important and interesting, including commands to spawn some of the most powerful weapons in the game, and of course, the command that allows you to respec your attributes.

If mods are a bit too much for you, we can get these items legitimately. Make sure to check our full guides for building a powerful character and earning plenty of eddies.

There are literally hundreds of console commands over at the full Google Doc here, but these are just what stood out as most immediately interesting to me. You can also spawn quest items, but that seems pointless unless you’ve had a quest item bug out on you in your save.
