How long does it take to beat DOOM Eternal?

According to id Software Executive Producer Marty Stratton, DOOM Eternal could take between 18 and 22 hours to finish.

He told it could take that long to finish “on a pretty complete play through”.

Rich and Jordan of PCGamesN tested this out for themselves, and found a full campaign play through with almost all collectibles took between 23 and 25 hours.

Creative director Hugo Martin also confirmed in an interview with GameSpot that this “is a 22-plus hour game”.

Obviously, playtime will differ from person to person, and depending on various factors such as difficulty.

Its predecessor had an average completion time at around 14 and a half hours, according to player-submitted times on HowLongToBeat.

This means Id Software has aimed to make DOOM Eternal about twice as long as the first.

How many levels does DOOM Eternal have?

DOOM Eternal has 13 levels, which is the same as the 2016 reboot.
