Forza Horizon 5's Hot Wheels Expansion adds a lot to the game: new tracks, vehicles, challenges and even a new map. But with a new map – way up in the clouds – come new collectible bonus boards. There are a total of 25 XP boards scattered across the terrain in this expansion.
To find all 25, you'll need to drive off of the interweaving, orange and blue tracks, and onto the natural terrain below. There are 8 bonus boards in each region: Forest Falls, Giant's Canyon and Icy Cauldron. If your math is good, you'll notice there's also one leftover stray in the middle of the map.
Stray Bonus Board
There's one bonus board that isn't located in any of the three biomes. This stray board is located at the very centre of the map, next to the Horizon Hot Wheels Outpost. It simply sits outside the outpost in plain sight and is the only bonus board on the map to be sitting on the tracks, rather than on the terrain.
Forest Falls Bonus Board Locations
8 of the 25 bonus boards are located in the northern region of the map, Forest Falls, filled with… forests and waterfalls. It's a little harder to get onto the terrain in this region, but look for the orange dotted lines to find tracks without borders that you can use to get off of the tracks.

| 1000XP | On the north side of the map, next to Hydra's Revenge, look off the side of the Hot Wheels track, and it'll be waiting next to the cliff's edge, above the waterfall. | |
| 5000XP | Moving on from the previous board, drive off the side of the cliff, down the waterfall. The bonus board will be inside the waterfall to the left, but it'll be difficult to see until you get closer. | |
| 1000XP | Travel to the orange dotted line on the northernmost part of the map. Use an offroad car to drive north, through the body of water. Then drive up the terrain to the left to make the bonus board appear on the map. | |
| 1000XP | Fast travel to the same orange dotted track as the last bonus board, but this time travel west, toward the other waterfall. Fall down this waterfall, and enter it to find your next XP boost. | |
| 3000XP | Travel to the Forest Leap Build Stub on the west side of the map. The next bonus board is directly under the Hot Wheels track. Simply drive off the side of the tracks on the right, through the ring of fire. Then use an offroad truck to drive backwards through the thicket and smash the bonus board. | |
| 5000XP | Stay on the terrain from the last bonus board. Head east, through the body of water until you reach the Hot Wheels track floating above the ground. Hidden directly below is another bonus board worth 5000XP. | |
| 1000XP | The next bonus board is on the far east side of the map. Travel to the road in the image to the right; you'll be able to drive off the edge of this track since it has no borders. Drive to the edge of the map and the board will be waiting. | |
| 5000XP | Stay in the Forgotten Gorge and drive into the canyon filled with water. It'll be in the same area as the nearest Tank Balloon, so if the Tank Balloon has unlocked on your map, simply drive towards it to find the board's location. It'll be inside another waterfall. |
Giant's Canyon Bonus Board Locations
The next region, with another eight bonus boards, is Giant's Canyon. There is a massive canyon on this part of the map, but thankfully most of the boards aren't scattered too far off from each other.

| 3000XP | Travel to the nearest orange dotted line and drive off of the track, into the body of water. Drive through the water until you reach the little islet full of rocks. The bonus board will be on this bit of land. | |
| 1000XP | Travel back to the orange dotted line and drive off the tracks again. This time, drive up the rocky terrain until the track is directly under you. The bonus board should pop up on your map, it'll be waiting for you at the cliff's edge. | |
| 1000XP | This is another relatively simple bonus board. Follow the hot wheels track until you're close by, then drive off of it to get onto the terrain. The board will be hiding underneath the track. | |
| 3000XP | This board follows a similar rule to the last one. Follow the track until you're close, and the track begins to swerve into a canyon. Get off the track and drive into the canyon on the terrain. The 3000XP board will be in this opening. | |
| 5000XP | Tracking down this next board is a little tricky, considering it's inside the canyon. If you're on higher terrain, simply drive your car to the board's approximate location and drive off the edge into the canyon. The board will be hidden beneath bushes. | |
| 3000XP | Find a Hot Wheels track that allows you to drive off of it nearby. Drive up any slope in the board's general direction and follow the cliff's edge until you find it. You'll even be able to see the board while driving along the track on the map. | |
| 1000XP | The last bonus board in Giant's Canyon is in a clearing, on the side of a cliff. Travel to the dotted line above, and drive down to the board. Or you can travel to the orange dotted line to the south, get off of the tracks and drive up a slope to reach the last board. |
Icy Cauldron Bonus Board Locations
The last set of boards are on the map's snowy, western region, Icy Cauldron. The terrain in this part of the map is a lot flatter and easier to drive around on than the other regions. Make sure you use a car that can handle the offroad snow.

| 1000XP | Drive to the edge of the Ice Cauldron on the west side of the map. The bonus board will be waiting on the side of the road. | |
| 3000XP | Travel to the nearest orange dotted line and drive off of the track. Drive through the body of ice toward the two large crevices. The bonus board will be in this gap. | |
| 3000XP | Travel back to the body of ice and drive into the middle of it. The next bonus board will be waiting under the Hot Wheels track next to the pillar. | |
| 1000XP | Fast travel to the nearest orange dotted line and drive up the snowy slope. Once you reach a naturally formed bridge, in between two lava pools, the bonus board will be waiting for you. | |
| 5000XP | Drive through the snowy bridge from the previous board, then follow the path up the hill. Once you've reached the top, turn left until you can look over the edge and see the next bonus board. | |
| 3000XP | Travel to the nearest orange dotted line on the image. Drive off of the tracks and follow it until the board pops up on your map. It will be immediately under the track once the terrain dips. | |
| 1000XP | Travel to the other naturally formed bridge in between two lava pools. The next board will be on this path, under the looping Hot Wheels track. | |
| 3000XP | Travel to the southern edge of the Icy Cauldron biome. The next bonus board is hidden around the side of a large rock. Simply drive around the large formation. |
