Today will see the release of a wave of new content in Genshin Impact, and a few characters will want to add to their team while they explore Inazuma.
The new region is open to anyone who can complete the new Archon quest that sends you and your party to the Liyue Harbor.
It’s a relatively simple exercise for those who have been playing Genshin Impact for a while, and there’s going to be plenty of gamers waiting to update their team.
The big news is that Mihoyo’s content schedule is getting a big update today with the launch of the Tapestry of Golden Flames Banner.
This will include the introduction of Yoimiya, a Pyro archer who is also an expert in fireworks.
Known as the Queen of the Summer Festival, Yoimiya excels in her craft of creating fireworks and is also the owner of the Naganohara Firework.
And it won’t be long before everyone has a boosted chanced at unlocking the bow-wielding Pyro today.
Developers Mihoyo has confirmed that the Genshin Impact Yoimiya Banner has a release date scheduled for Tuesday, August 10.
The new Genshin banner will start at 5pm BST in the UK and 3pm PDT in North America.

“Mujina Ninja””·Sayu (Anemo), “Kätzlein Cocktail”·Diona (Cryo), and “Blazing Riff”·Xinyan (Pyro).
Each of these will be available to unlock during the Banner with boosted rates, with a message from Mihoyo adding:
“After this event wish ends, the 4-star character Mujina Ninja·Sayu (Anemo) will be available in the standard wish Wanderlust Invocation in Version 2.1.
“Of the above characters, the event-exclusive character will not be available in the standard wish Wanderlust Invocation.
“The Test Run trial event will be open during this event wish. Travellers may use fixed lineups containing the selected trial characters to enter specific stages and test them out.
“Travelers that complete the challenges will receive the corresponding rewards.”
A new event is being launched this week as part of this week’s Banner, which will bring boosted drop rates to some top weapons.
This will include the 5-star weapon Thundering Pulse Bow and the 5-star Skyward Blade Sword.
