Immortals Fenyx Rising is jam-packed full of different kinds of quests and challenges for you to sink your teeth into, and one of those is the Lyre Myth Challenges. In each of the six areas on the map, you’ll be able to find a big stone lyre where you can hit the strings to play notes.
Additionally, hidden in each area will be 3-4 mini-lyres that play a tune when interacted with. If you remember these tunes and play them on the big lyre for the corresponding area, you get a reward of some Coins of Charon. Fortunately for you, the game doesn’t actually require you to hunt down the mini lyres, so we’ve got every tune you need just below!
Big lyres are fast travel points… right up until you complete them that is. Handy for getting back to them, and handy to know when you’ve completed them as the fast travel waypoint option will disappear off the map (as will the big lyre marker).
You’ll also know how many tunes are needed per big lyre as there are faintly glowing spots nearby, each of which becomes the spot where you claim your Coins of Charon as a reward for each tune correctly played.
One last tip: the easiest way to play the tunes on the big lyres is to shoot the strings with your arrows. This way you won’t hit any rogue strings with the swing of your ax.
Clashing Rocks is the first area you will start in and is home to Hermes. The lyre is pretty easy to find as it is close to the statue of Hermes. There are three tunes to this lyre, with the notes you need to hit as follows:
- 2, 4, 1
- 4, 3, 4, 1
- 3, 1, 2, 4, 4
The Valley of Eternal Spring
The Valley of Eternal Spring is the area you enter as soon as you finish the prologue and is Aphrodite’s domain. You can find the big lyre here close to her statue, and the tunes are as follows:
- 2, 4, 1, 3
- 4, 2, 1, 4, 2
- 3, 2, 3, 1, 4
- 1, 3, 2, 4, 2, 1
Grove of Kleos
From here on out, you can tackle any lyre you wish as you can journey to any of the other areas of your choosing. Some have more difficult enemies, but you can reach each lyre without having to enter combat if you wish. The Grove of Kleos is the home of Athena and the lyre is just south of her statue. The required tunes are:
- 2, 4, 1
- 1, 4, 3
- 2, 1, 3, 4
The Forelands area is the home of Hephaistos and the lyre isn’t too far from the large statue of the god and his famed anvil. The tunes are as follows:
- 3, 2, 1
- 1, 4, 1, 3
- 1, 3, 2, 3
Next, it’s onto the home or Ares, God of War, in the aptly named War’s Den. Once more, the big lyre can be found fairly close to the statue of the god. The tunes you need to play are:
- 1, 1, 4, 2, 3
- 3, 1, 1, 2, 4, 3
- 2, 1, 3, 2, 3, 4
- 2, 3, 1, 4, 2, 4
King’s Peak is the northernmost area that is fogged on the map and it has a large statue of an eagle as the place for you to view your surroundings. The lyre here is very close to the statue, just north of it, but it can be tricky to see because of the snow. The tunes are as follows:
- 1, 4, 2, 3
- 2, 2, 4, 2, 3
- 3, 4, 4, 2, 3
