Reddit is down tonight, with servers temporarily offline as the latest technical issues being shared on Twitter.

The latest server message was shared via the social media platform, including what is being done to bring everything back online.

For now, Reddit users are seeing an error message, confirming that all servers are busy right now, alongside an error code: 503.

The latest update from the Reddit team doesn’t provide an ETA when things will be back online but based on the latest news; things should be back online this morning.

A message from Reddit adds: “Error rates are elevated, and requests are failing.”

“We are continuing to work on a fix for this issue.”

Independent outage monitor Down Detector has registered a huge spike in Reddit down reports, which began coming in around 3am BST.

At the time of writing, downdetector.com has recorded a peak of more than 40,000 reports of Reddit down, with Down Detector UK registering a peak of around 45,000.
