Sonic celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and as was revealed during a recent Sonic Central, the blue blur is doing a lot to mark the occasion. The celebrations include popping up in other titles, including Minecraft and the official Tokyo Olympics game, not just the Mario and Sonic one. It appears Banana Mania can now be added to that list, or at least it can be once Sega decides to confirm the news.
Sonic isn’t the only video game series celebrating a birthday this year, of course. The reason for Banana Mania’s release is to mark 20 years of Super Monkey Ball. Banana Mania will arrive on PC, Nintendo Switch, and both current and last-gen consoles on October 5, 2020. It will retail at $29.99 on PC, $39.99 on consoles, and $49.99 for the digital deluxe edition. There will also be an anniversary edition, the price of which is yet to be confirmed.
