Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is set to release November 15. That's this week, on Friday for those of you who don't know.
But if you're wondering when the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order reviews will arrive, it's not anytime soon.
Unlike certain other games released this holiday, most have had review embargo's quite a few days before launch.
Death Stranding arrived a week before, whilst the likes of Call of Duty Modern Warfare, FIFA 20 and so many others came days before the games arrived in stores.
But according to one Respawn dev responding on Reddit to fan queries, the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order review embargo is set to go "live around launch."
As pointed out by some on the games sub-reddit, this isn't ideal, not least when some pre-order bonuses aren't obtainable in-game.
So unless you want to pony up early on blind faith that the game is worth buying day 1, you won't be grabbing those pre-order bonuses after the game goes live on Friday.
Whilst the Respawn dev's response is quite vague, global reviews aggregator Metacritic seem to have the inside track on precisely when the review embargo will lift.
Writing on Twitter, Metacritic last week posted:
'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PS4/XOne/PC) reviews will start going up Thursday at 9pm Pacific"
For those of you in the UK, that's technically 5am, Friday morning.
So it's the same day of launch, and we imagine will be too late for anyone to make up their mind and still grab any of those pre-order offers for the game.
For what it's worth, we don't have any doubts that the game will be a rip-roaring success, it's just always helpful for readers and potential buyers to have a variety of reviews and opinions before handing over their hard-earned cash.
Recently Daily Star contributor Dan Lipscombe had the chance to play a good chunk of the game at a Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order preview event.
If you want to know if full opinions, follow the link above, but for now we'll just leave you with this little bit we've pulled out to give you a flavour of what he thought of the game.
"The demo was a mouth-watering teaser. I want to see where the story takes me, I want to scour planets looking for parts for my Lightsaber, I want to grow closer to BD-1.
"I’m eager to see the Inquisitors, some of which are new to this game but already appearing in the Darth Vader comics (handy if you want to know more about this world right now).
"I played for fifty minutes and felt, for the entire time, like a Jedi.
"Surely that’s the best compliment I can give?"
Anyone keen to pre-order might also be interested to know that you can get a decent deal on the game at the moment that brings the price down to just £39.99.
We won't bore you with the full details, not when we've got a page already written that can do that.
