Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is on the way this March 23 in North America, but prior to its launch, Marvelous has news on the new Expansion Pass available at launch. It looks like you’ll be rewarded with new outfits, scenarios, and marriage candidates should you pick up the DLC.
For those of you who pick up the Expansion Pass immediately, you’ll have access to an extra set of costumes including Pete and Claire’s overalls and Yuto and Noami’s hoodies from Friends of Mineral Town. You’ll also get Henry and Holly’s western attire from Trio of Towns. This offer is limited though, and only available to those who grab it by March 23.
The DLC package will be divided up into five parts, with the first arriving shortly after launch in April. The April bundle includes Animal Attire for your farmer and marriage candidates, plus the Olive Town Mystery Files sub-scenario that follows Mikey and Cindy through a strange series of mysteries occurring in Olive Town.
The next drop planned for May is when the real fun begins in your love life, as it adds two new marriage candidates in the Windswept Falls Expansion Pack. You’ll be able to meet two other characters two, meaning you get four new neighbors in total from a past entry on the Nintendo 3DS.
Three more updates are planned afterward extending through the year, with content drops planned for June, July, and August. In total, you’ll add six possible romances to your life, friends from past games like Trio of Towns, adorable Yukatas, and more side stories like The Legendary Sprite Dance scenario. Marvelous and XSeed plan to release more concrete dates on each content update later on.
Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town’s Expansion Pass will retail for $19.99, but you can grab it as part of a bonus set with the game for a reduced rate of $69.99. If you haven’t checked it out already, we’ve covered the adorable limited Premium Edition available now for $59.99. It comes with a plush of Buffy the buffalo, trading cards, A3 poster, and A5 notebook.
