Fans of NieR: Automata can now stream the game’s highly acclaimed soundtrack. Released in 2017, NieR: Automata was one of the year’s most notable titles. Players were captivated by the combat, story, and music. In May 2019, the game had sold over four million copies.
PlatinumGames has cemented itself as one of the most respected developers in the industry since then. Aside from the Bayonetta series, the company has developed The Wonderful 101, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and more. Last year saw the release of Astral Chain, a new IP for Nintendo Switch. Astral Chain was well received and sold more than expected. However, NieR: Automata remains one of the company’s most esteemed titles.
NieR: Automata tells a unique story about a war against machines. The two primary characters are 2B and 9S. 2B has since become a notable character in video game fandom, even appearing as a guest star in Soulcalibur VI. NieR: Automata has multiple endings, ensuring plenty of replay value. There was also a novel adaption titled Long Story Short, which covers the game. NieR: Automata will be remembered by many as one of the best games of the previous decade. Now, fans can stream its music.

NieR: Automata was awarded Best Score/Music at The Game Awards in 2017. Now, for those who use Spotify (or other platforms), the game’s soundtrack is available for streaming. There is also an album for arranged and unreleased tracks, as well as Piano Collections.
In addition to NieR: Automata, the soundtrack as well as another album for NieR: Gestalt and Replicant was added. The first NieR‘s backstory is interesting, as it was released as two separate games in Japan. Although not an obscure game, it never gained the popularity of its followup.
Suffice to say, PlatinumGames has achieved an elite status not only for its games, but also its quality music. The music in both Astral Chain and NieR: Automata enhance the already fast-paced gameplay.
