Hideo Kojima to Talk Death Stranding at Tribeca Film Festival This Month

Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus will both be featured in a panel at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City that will be dedicated to Death Stranding and hosted by Geoff Keighley.

The panel will take place on Thursday, April 25 at 6pm ET and will run for 60 minutes. Kojima and Reedus will “discuss pushing the boundaries of the video game medium and talk about how their relationship has established over working on the title together.”

Death Stranding was announced in 2016 at Sony’s 2016 E3 press conference and will star, alongside The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen and Lea Seydoux.

We got our biggest look yet at Kojima’s latest creation at E3 2018, but we still aren’t sure on what exactly the moment-to-moment gameplay might be or when the game will be released.

While two hours of Death Stranding has been shown and demoed behind closed doors to a select few, like the developers of Horizon: Zero Dawn, Kojima has said that his game is a little behind schedule, although not by much.

Death Stranding joins The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima as the most high-profile announced exclusive titles for PlayStation 4, and we recently discussed when we think these games will be released and whether or not they could also become PlayStation 5 games.
