PS4 State Of Play Stream Announced For Thursday, Focuses On Ghost Of Tsushima

Sony is airing a new State of Play presentation this week. The broadcast is set for this Thursday, May 14, and will focus entirely on one of PS4’s biggest upcoming exclusives: Ghost of Tsushima.

The stream begins at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET. According to the PlayStation Blog, it’ll provide “an extended look at new gameplay footage, including exploration, combat, and more.” The broadcast is estimated to run for around 18 minutes. You’ll be able to tune in on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube channels.

In the PlayStation Blog post, Sony reiterates that Thursday’s stream will be devoted entirely to showcasing Ghost of Tsushima; the company notes that there will not be any PS5 news or updates during the broadcast, so don’t expect any new details about the next-gen console to come from the stream.

Ghost of Tsushima was originally slated to launch in June, but its new release date is July 17. The Last of Us Part II, Sony’s other big PS4 exclusive this year, will now launch on June 19 after being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, while Iron Man VR is coming on July 3.
