Xbox Game Pass adding Monster Hunter: World, Prey, Resident Evil 5, and more

Microsoft is going all in this spring with a selection of high-profile titles for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

First on the list is Prey, the critically acclaimed first-person shooter that ranked among Polygon’s top 10 games of the 2017. You’ll also get access to The Golf Club 2, both of which arrive on April 11.

Then, on April 18, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get access to Monster Hunter: World. This latest iteration of the cooperative action-adventure game has been a hit on consoles since its release January 2018, and a lock among the most-played games on Steam.

Also on April 18, Microsoft is adding The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, the penultimate season of Telltale’s episodic adventure game.

Later in the month, on April 24, fans will get access to Life is Strange 2: Episode 2. Then, just one day later, comes Resident Evil 5.

Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service launched in the summer of 2017. Microsoft promises a catalogue of more than 100 titles for members to download and play. The service currently offers 224 titles, and costs $9.99 per month. Microsoft is running a promotion that offers the first month’s membership for just $1.
