PS Plus October 2023 Extra and Premium reveal time, date and full games line-up

PlayStation Plus subscribers are counting down to the announcement of the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for October 2023. The next batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium releases will be officially unveiled at 4.30pm BST UK time on the afternoon of October 11. The games will be available to download and play less than a week later, hitting PS4 and PS5 consoles on the morning of October 17. Of course, as has become customary in recent months, many of the games have leaked ahead of schedule.

With Halloween almost upon us, Sony will add a selection of spooky games in October 2023.

This includes Dead Island Definitive Edition, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes and the excellent Alien Isolation.

“Fifteen years after the events of Alien, Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda enters a desperate battle for survival, on a mission to unravel the truth behind her mother’s disappearance,” reads the official description.

“As Amanda, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked, desperate population and an unpredictable, ruthless Alien.

“Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.”

According to reputable leaker billbil-kun, Gotham Knights will also join the PS Plus Extra line-up in October, alongside Far: Changing Tides, Gungrave GORE and Elite Dangerous.

That’s on top of unique and innovative role-playing game Disco Elysium Definitive Edition, which is arguably the pick of the bunch in October.

“You’re a detective with a unique skill system at your disposal and a whole city block to carve your path across,” reads the official description.

“Interrogate unforgettable characters, crack murders, or take bribes. Become a hero or an absolute disaster of a human being.”

More games will be announced on October 11, including a selection of retro games for PS Plus Premium subscribers. There are even rumours The Last of Part 2 will make an appearance.

Express Online will update this article with the full line-up later this week.
