Mortal Kombat 1 Nintendo Switch update – NetherRealm finally fixes visuals

Mortal Kombat 1 has proven incredibly popular since launching in September, selling plenty of copies and – for the most part, at least – earning critical acclaim. Unfortunately, however, while the PS5, Xbox and PC versions have been praised for their fast-paced action and visuals, the same can’t be said for the Nintendo Switch edition. The Nintendo Switch version of MK1 has some laughably terrible graphics and big performance dips.

As you can see from the patch notes below, however, developer NetherRealm has been hard at work trying to improve the Switch version, bringing it more in line with its PS5 and Xbox counterparts.

Indeed, the new Mortal Kombat 1 update makes a wealth of crucial improvements and fixes on Nintendo Switch.

Mortal Kombat 1 fans should notice an improvement in how the game looks and how it performs.

NetherRealm has also reduced loading times on Nintendo Switch, fixed problems with the leaderboard and made a variety of balance changes.
